This is it. In a few days, we're launching our Kickstarter campaign to finish developing Div'In and ship version 1.0 of the app.
If you've been following us for a while, you know the story: two Swiss divers, one frustration shared everywhere we dove — filling out the same forms, pulling out the same certification cards, re-entering the same information at every check-in, at every center, in every country. So we decided to build the tool we always wished existed: a diver profile that travels with you, a digital logbook, all your certifications (PADI, SSI, CMAS, NAUI, RAID, BSAC and more) in one place, and a check-in that takes a few taps instead of a stack of forms.
Where do we stand? The app already exists in an advanced form. We have dive centers in Mexico, the Philippines, and Thailand that are waiting for the final version. The public launch on the App Store and Google Play is planned for September 2026. The Kickstarter campaign funds the final sprint: finishing development, testing in real conditions, fixing bugs, building the Pro features dive centers asked for, and securing it all.
Why back the campaign instead of waiting for September? Three good reasons:
- Exclusive beta access. Every backer, starting from CHF 20, gets access to the app this summer through our dedicated test centers — months before the public. You create your real diver profile, explore the logbook, and your feedback directly shapes the final product.
- The Founders' Club. From the "Premium Founder" tier (CHF 50), you get free access to all future Premium features for a minimum of 5 years — a contractual commitment. Your name also joins the Founders' Wall on our website.
- Keeping Div'In independent. Our promise stands: the core of the app will remain free for every diver. No intrusive ads, no data sales, no favoritism between certification agencies. This campaign lets us move fast without compromising that model.
The goal is CHF 20,000, on an all-or-nothing basis: if we don't reach it, you're fully refunded. You risk nothing.
How can you help right now? Follow the Kickstarter page to be notified at launch, and most of all: spread the word. To your club, your home center, your dive buddy. The first hours of a campaign are decisive, and word-of-mouth is our best ally.
